Oct 24 Donation to the Leprosy Mission
We encourage a generous attitude. The PCC made a donation of £1500 to the Leprosy Mission. They do a really important work caring for those in third world counties suffering from leprosy. 200,000 people a year catch leprosy but it is now curable. This donation was in addition to the money given by members of the church through a collection box scheme.
Dec 25 Carols in the Church Yard
We had a great Carol service in the Churchyard on Christmas eve, with almost 700 people from Biddenham and Great Denham. A small band from the Salvation Army and much improved audio this year made a massive difference to the singing. And of course we also had a Nativity service and a service on Christmas day.
