The church is a community, the sum of its members; so if the community is to be a healthy one, people will be willing to do certain tasks to make it work. As with any community, the more people who are willing to be involved in any task, the lighter the tasks that any one person has to do and the greater the unity, warmth and commitment that there is in the church.

The Church Barn
The Barn, our church hall, is an attractive old barn with a kitchen and facilities for meetings and celebrations.

Bell ringing
Biddenham’s tower has 8 bells, some from 1787, rung before Sunday services and during Thursday evening practices.
Handbell ringers
St James has a long history of handbell ringing of a very high standard. This music is much appreciated all over the county and beyond where the players perform in concerts.
