Ukraine

St James Church supports and welcomes the people of Ukraine following the invasion by Russia on 24th February 2022. Members of the church have, and continue to, host Ukrainian refugees in their homes. Our vicar Eric heard God speak to him at the time of the initial invasion and is committed to providing pastoral support to all Ukrainians in our midst.

We meet in the Church Barn (MK40 4AS) on first, third and fifth Monday of each month between 5:30 and 7:00pm to welcome Ukrainians to the Bedford area.  There is the opportunity to meet fellow Ukrainians and, especially for those recently arrived, there are clothes and other useful necessities freely available.
