The last Church End home group for this season was held last week, discussing the recent piece of research conducted by Barna Group on perceptions of Jesus, Christians & evangelism in our country. This meeting stimulated reflective thought on the way forward. The challenging importance of our  “Talking Jesus” to those around us was highlighted (we can all be ‘movers & shakers’ for God in different ways). The stats were presented in various graphical forms in a booklet jointly published by the C of E, Evangelical Alliance & HOPE. This booklet is available from Edwin Martin (churchwarden) or  in a nice ‘FLIP’ (HTML5) format on the following link:     http://www.talkingjesus.org/research/talking-jesus-booklet.cfm   (summative comments on pages 24-26).

The group now takes a break for the summer.
