Community Ministers David and Suzette are hosting the annual ‘Songs of Praise’ service at St. James church, 4.30pm, on Sun 18 Sept. Please sign up for your special ‘song of praise’ (341912).

St James: Will be delivering leaflets in Deep Spinney and Great Denham about the Songs of Praise and Harvest Festival services.  If you can help distribute leaflets tell Ann Morrish.

Table+: David and Suzette are hosting the first of these events in their home (39 Broad Mead Avenue, Great Denham, MK40 4SA) on Sun 21 Aug, 7.30-9pm. Those coming along are invited to bring some ‘nibbles’ to share. Format: 30-45 mins of socialising; then a short time of ‘sharing’ about what is going on in their ministry and the two parishes; then 30-45 mins of prayer. All welcome, but please let them know if you’re coming (341912). Thanks!

All Saints Natter Club:
Thurs 18 Aug from 2-5pm in All Saints Church Hall, Kempston. £1 for drinks, cakes and a natter plus £1 for raffle ticket. Guest speaker: Sheila Phillips with dog Chester from charity Canine Partners
Thurs 15 Sept Guest speaker is Jane Weaver demonstrating ‘ Chair Aerobics ‘. 2pm – 5pm in Church Hall Kempston. £1 for teas, coffees & cakes. Raffle tickets £1. All are welcome Vikki Clarke (843669)

An opportunity for All Saints: David and Suzette are running ‘Come & Play’ sessions at Daisy Hill Children’s Centre. Is anyone willing to help (10-11am) with snacks and drinks? Wednesdays 17 and 24 Aug. Do let them know (341912) if you are able to help out. Thanks

Biddenham Arts Summer Exhibition Sat 20 Aug 10am-4pm, Sun 21 Aug 11.30am-3.30pm, Church Barn, £1.  Many local artists. Percentage of sales to St James Church Fund

Biddenham Show Sun 11 Sept. As usual St James Cake Stall needs biscuits, buns, cakes, scones etc. and helpers to sell them. The Human Fruit Machine needs “humans,”  great fun and you get to sit down! Please sign the lists at the back of the church if you can help. Sue (342373) and Ann (266644).
