Pilgrim Course on the Lord’s Prayer: Mondays 5, 12,19 and 26 Oct at 7.30pm. All Saints Church Hall. All welcome, please sign list.

A group of families from St James Church will be going to Spring Harvest 2-6 April 2016. This is a worship, teaching, and music festival with great facilities for children and young people. http://springharvest.org/. Young people go back year after year. If you would like to come please contact Peta Martin (348718) before 27 Sept or after 26 Oct. Book early – places are going fast.

Many thanks to all who contributed to, or helped with, the St James Songs of Praise service at last Sunday. You helped us to raise a massive £112 for Church Army too! Thanks again. David and Suzette.

Transforming Communities

PCCs ask both St James and All Saints to support Bedford Foodbank Last month they fed 456 people. Currently short of tinned chicken meat, tinned pasta, 500g rice, 500g sugar, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables, cup a soup, biscuits, toothpaste and shower gel. All non-perishables welcome. Thank you for continued support.

Natter Club meets on Thurs 15 Oct 2-6pm at All Saints Hall: 3pm Talk: Nutrition by Dana Green. Elaine.

Bishop’s Harvest Appeal 2015 supports children with disabilities in Uganda. Also collecting items for Bedford Foodbank at St James and for Prebend Street Day Centre at All Saints. Please join us in St James Barn on Sat 24 Oct. 10.30am–12noon for coffee and cake and an ‘edible bring and buy’ to raise money for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal. No charge but donations for the work with disabled children in Uganda.
