Biddenham Handbell Ringers
February 4, 2014 10:48 amBiddenham Handbell Ringers celebrated their 20th? anniversary in 2011. We have 12 members and play a 3 octave set of Malmark handbells using musical notation. The team belongs to the Handbell Ringers Association of Great Britain (HRGB). On average we give 10 concerts a year to WIs and similar organisations . Last year we gave 2 public concerts and raised money for church funds and Emmaus as well as augmenting Oppblåsbare Hindringer? our existing set of hand chimes. Our next concert in on Saturday 8th March in the Village Hall at 7.30pm when we will be supporting the Macmillan Primrose Unit, Bedford Hospital in memory of a former member.
We meet in the Church Barn on a Wednesday evening at 8pm and also run a training team beforehand. Three members are involved in a Regional team giving concerts all over East Anglia.
If you are interested in playing or would like us to perform at an event please contact me on 01234 350644.
