Sidesmen
We have a pool of fifteen or so members of the congregation who act as sidesmen. We provide two each week, morning and evening, to help to prepare the Church for the service and welcome members of the congregation on arrival.
They are responsible both for collectin the offerings and counting the money and envelopes after the service has finished. At the end they try to ensure that the Church is as tidy as possible, having locked away any Church valuables.
