Lily Galbraith is 10 years old. Her Jumble sale (St James Church Barn, Sat 12 Mar 2-4pm) is for AFC Oakley Under 10’s football club tour to Clacton and equipment.  Lily is looking for donations – clothes, bric-a-brac, toys etc and/or people to attend on the day (refreshments served) Cathy,mother: (365509), 39 Church End (not Day’s Lane).

Thank you to everyone who helped in the provision of the buffet and in the organising of Stephen and Elaine’s farewell party.  Anita Lowe

Stephen`s Retirement Gift was a cheque for £2,825 donated by both Churches and presented at the farewell Service. The Churchwardens from All Saints and St James would wish to thank everyone for their generosity. Stephen and Elaine were so very grateful and will be thanking everyone more formally once the house move is completed.
