The Shalom Group of six Churches is holding a Pentecost Service at St James at 6pm on Sun 15 May. Paul Fricker will be leading this service. Afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes will be served at 4.30pm in the Church Barn. The Shalom group of Churches is supporting St James during the vacancy by assisting in providing Clergy cover for both services and weddings. Your support will be most welcome. Laurie.

Bishop Richard will be leading the morning Service at both St James and All Saints on the 1 May 2016. At St James it will be the usual Family Service. The Bishop will be supported by Canon John Tibbs.

Transforming Communities

St James Churchyard Spring Working Party Help much appreciated on 23 Apr, 10am-12noon, for maintenance on churchyard and Heritage Trail. Many hands make light work. Do join us – same time as the open coffee morning. Debbi C.
