St James new pew cushions. The PCC has decided to replace the current (worn out) pew runners.  Cost is approx. £4,000.   If you would like to make a donation towards a comfy seat in church please put in a yellow envelope marked ‘Seat Cushions’ and give to Ann Morrish, Laurie Hurn or Jacqui Piper.

Autumn Course on ‘Exploring Prayer’ begins this week, Mon 31 Oct, 7.30 pm prompt in All Saints Church Hall. It’s not too late to sign-up and join the 15 or so who have already committed to come. See you there? Suzette Maguire

Important date for diary: licensing ceremony for Rev Eric Lomax is planned for Tues 31 Jan 2017. We look forward to welcoming Eric to All Saints and St James.

All Saints Lunch Club, Wed 16 Nov 12.30pm at Corner 5. Christmas Lunch, Wed 7 Dec  12.30pm at The King William, 2 courses £18.95, 3 courses £23.95, £5 deposit. Meal order essential before 17 Nov please. Everyone welcome, for details contact Anita Lowe (857212).

Christmas cards with views of Biddenham for sale again this year. Cost: 5 cards for £3 and 10 cards for £5. They will be in Church each Sunday or contact Sue Squire (342373) or Jacqui Piper (356993) to order them.
St James Christmas Bazaar Sat 3 Dec, Village Hall 2 -4.30pm. We need your help please: Bottles for the bottle stall (anything in a bottle) – in box at back of church or to the Smiths at 50 Main Road; Food for the Produce stall – Anne Church (214805); Volunteer help for an hour or so on a stall or in the kitchen – Sue Squire (342373)
