St James churchwardens – As we know, after many years of humble service, Laurie Hurn will not seek re-election in April.  Edwin Martin is happy to continue, assuming replacement(s) can be found. We can have two churchwardens and up to three deputy churchwardens (so the role can be shared). Please pray and consider carefully whether this is something you might be able to do.  For more info, please speak to either Laurie or Edwin.

St James men’s group at 15 Church End Biddenham. On Fri 10 March we will be inviting Duncan Goldthorpe to think with us about whether all this talk actually means something in real everyday life. Edwin Martin.

PCC Membership/Deanery Synod Representation – At the St James’s annual meeting in April, we will need to elect four PCC members and two Deanery Synod representatives.  If you are interested please speak to Jacqui Piper.

St James house group – Thurs 23 Feb at 15 Church End Biddenham at 7.30pm. David and Suzette Maguire will be leading a further session of the Faith Pictures course, which has so far been very enjoyable and thought provoking. All are welcome. We will start with a meal, so please let us know if you will be coming. We look forward to welcoming you, Edwin Martin.

St James’s Electoral Roll in preparation for the Annual Meeting, the Electoral Roll for St James’s will be at the back of the church from 5 Mar – 2 Apr.  Please check and alter if needed.  If you are not on the Roll but would like to be, application forms are also at the back of the church.  Completed forms to Jacqui Piper or a churchwarden.
