Easter at St James Church

On Good Friday the young people of the church came together for a time of activities brilliantly organised by Joe, Mark, Clare Debbie and Linda. There was card making, biscuit decorating, crown making, and the planting of the Easter Garden around the garden tomb. Our Great Denham Community Ministers David and Suzette were noticed being advised by our young people and David had glitter all over his fingers so he probably had a go himself at the activities. There was a short service about what the story of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins meant and then an Easter egg hunt in the churchyard. In all a good time was had and the church family of all ages had time to think of the true meaning of Good Friday.
